Drop HEIC photos here, or click to choose
Converted on your device — nothing is uploaded. Large batches are processed one at a time.

How to use it

  1. 1
    Add your HEIC photos

Drag your .heic or .heif files onto the drop zone, or click to choose them. You can add a single photo or a whole batch.

  2. 2
    Pick a quality

Leave the quality slider at the default or adjust it — higher quality means a larger JPG, lower quality means a smaller file.

  3. 3
    Convert

Conversion starts automatically and runs one photo at a time, so even large batches never crash your browser.

  4. 4
    Download your JPGs

Save each converted photo with one click. Your originals are untouched and nothing is ever uploaded.

Why convert HEIC to JPG?

Since iOS 11, iPhones and iPads save photos as HEIC by default. It’s an efficient format, but plenty of apps, websites and older devices still can’t open it. Converting to JPG gives you a file that works everywhere.

Because JPG is universally supported, it’s the safest choice when you need to upload a photo, email it, or share it with someone on a different device.

Private by design

Your photos are personal. This converter runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your images are never uploaded to a server. Once the page has loaded you can even go offline and it still works.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your photos never leave your device — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

What is a HEIC file?

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones and iPads have used by default since iOS 11. It saves space, but many apps and websites can’t open it, so converting to JPG makes your photos universally compatible.

Is there a limit on how many photos I can convert?

There’s no artificial limit. Because everything runs on your own device, the only constraint is your device’s memory — so very large batches of high-resolution photos are processed one at a time to stay safe.

Can I convert to PNG or WebP instead?

JPG is available today; PNG and WebP output are on the roadmap. For maximum compatibility and small files, JPG is usually the best choice.

Why did one of my photos fail to convert?

A few HEIC variants (for example certain tiled or multi-image files from some devices) can fail to decode in some browsers. The rest of your batch will still convert — try that photo in a different browser if needed.
